Great Thursday!

Hey hey hey Peeps!

It's been a tranquilo Thursday here on the Marina but very exciting for our boats.
Our 3 boats out in the water did great today after we thought that it would be a slow day
considering yesterday being a slow day but in the end it was awesome.

Jeff Massengill and his friends were out on the pacific today aboard the Rum Runnin with Capt. Javier and Mate Americo and caught 5 Sierra and a Marlin! I am telling you Sierras are out there people!!!

Carl Graziano Joe, Steve and Frankk were out on Ziggy today. Earlier in the morning they were showing me really cool pictures of a Striped Marlin one of them had caught on one of their trips and were all in the mood to go out there and catch some more. They caught Dorado and Tuna. I remember one of them saying "it's all about having fun and if I have to get naked to have fun...then I will" Atta boy! that's the spirit! LOL.

And finally our hermano John Zimmerman and lady went out on the first day, out of two, with us today and they too caught 7 Sierra and a Dorado. Truth be told, it's the best month to fish Sierra!
but still they did a good job out there!

The weather today in Cabo San Lucas is mainly clear, Low 59F. Winds at 5 to 10 mph so not that bad at all. Tomorrow we expect a sunny day in the upper 70's F.

For all the readers on anglerweb.com I have to inform that our blogs are not being posted! so we might stop trying for a while, but we may begin posting on the Texas Fishing Forum. And if you guys have any other suggestions as to where we will get a lot of readers, please feel free to let us know and will begin posting blogs there as well!

I'll keep you guys updated on the day to day info here at RedRum Cabo San Lucas!

Thanks for reading

Cherry Popped Skunked Wednesday! =)

Yo yo yo!
Hey people this is Nick as you probably read in the previous blog (by Brook)...that the guys played a prank on me! So I thought maybe I'd write just a bit of what really went on!
There I was sitting in the fighting chair, my arms were becoming more and more tired as I reeled in, what I thought, was a big fish. I was like WOW my first time fishing with RedRum and I caught something big how lucky am I?

Little did I know, I was reeling in a bucket as you can see! I still had a lot of fun and it was great, time went by so fast and we caught 4 sierra. For all the newbies out there this was sent to me today... "rule #1: NEVER fall asleep on the boat if the boss isn't asleep!!!" Believe me you don't want to end up with a picture of you catching a bucket! LOL!

Very windy today in Cabo San Lucas but sunny, furtunately it did not rain so thumbs up for that! but I guess yesterday's rain had an impact on those fishies in the water because they simply decided not to show up at all! We had groups of people who did not catch anything which is not so cool, but at least they did have a great time. It's all about being a good sport and being lucky ;) Believe me, our Captains and their mates are out there doing their best for our customers to catch something.

Our Amigos Shane Folk, Clifford, Nicole, Donna, Jennifer, Trent and Dave were out on a 42' Stopperton named "Pescado III" for the first time, first day in fishing and will be joining us again on the 13th. Today they caught a Dorado, took some very cool pics too which I hope they send in so all of you can take a look at them! Hopefully they'll run with better luck on the 13th! see you guys then. Oh and BTW they're getting married next Thursday so congratulations on the wedding buddies!

Another soon to be married couple Devin Galimore, his peeps and his soon to be lady Tracy Russell came fishing with us today, and caught themselves 8 Sierras. Not bad at all! I wonder when the big date is? that is something I forgot to ask...don't forget to send those pictures so we can post them!!

All our groups were filled with enthusiastic people, all very friendly and with a big smile on their faces early in the morning today. They came back to the office with the same great attitude, even if nothing was caught and that just demonstrates that if you Ride with RedRum you are riding with the very best.

Thank you all for reading and I will keep them comin'...thanks Brent Robicheaux.

Peace Out!

Cherry has been popped!

This just in...

Nick and Ryan are out on El Nuevo today as Nick learns the ropes on the water. His first fishing trip in the Baja with RedRum, with many more to come!

So as many of you may know the bucket trick is often used for the new and the green... I won't spoil it for those that don't know the story behind it. But we had this newbie fooled!

Nice job Nick, real nice catch you've got there.

Check in later today to see how the boats really did on the water!

Thanks... Brooke

"Rain Rain Go away come back Another day!"

Hello everybody,

First of all I want to thank the RedRum team for taking me aboard the RedRum Ship and making me feel like at home! of course this includes all the crew and all the customers who have sent me welcome emails I will do my very best and put my heart into my job so that everybody gets the same great service as always....just give me a few more days and I am there. Thank you all so much.

So the second day of Februray and we did not expect it to rain today, it's been raining all day long. Our boats had to come back a bit early becuase of this situation. We are expecting more rain tomorrow but hopefully during night time, that way our friends who are here fishing with us can enjoy the great experience RedRum has to offer.

But hey not all was bad, our budds were able to catch something so..."every cloud has a silver lining!"

The catch of the day was Dorado. Mark and Martha Crawford did really well in catching 3 of them, they didn't have a lot of trouble reeling them in either, Great job guys!

Bruce Taggert and his mates Nick, Kelsey, Mackenzie, germain and Travis fished up 2 Dorado and a Marlin well done Peeps! I know that fishing Dorado is good year round but lately Dorado seems to be simply kickin' it out in the Pacific.

Harold Hughes, Tom and Nancy Akers were on our RedBeam. Although they didn't know eachother they had a great time, when they came back in after the trip was over they were getting eachother's emails and phone numbers, what a cool way to meet people! These guys also caught 4 Dorado, 1 Tuna and a Spanish Mackerol.

So you see, even though it was a rainy day and our guys had to come back a bit earlier they still had a blast out in the Pacific and did not go home empty handed. But still Cabo is known for its sunny weather and it's not normal to have rain in the beginning of the year, we normally get a 10 to 15 day rain throughout the whole year so this was a total surprise for all of us!

Anyways, hopefully tomorrow it'll be different!

Keep in Touch!

Fun Day Sunday

Onthe last day of January, its been a tranquilo Sunday on the Marina in Cabo San Lucas. But exciting for the RedRum boats on the water today.

The temperature in the water is about 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Scott & Chris, buddies from Ohio and girlfriendless, headed out with Capt. Javier and Mate Americo aboard RumRunnin. They went between Los Arcos and El Faro on the Pacific side about 3-4 miles out. They caught 2 Dorado on live bait and about 6 Skip Jacks inshore. Nice job gentlemen.

Patrick and Heather from Green Bay, Wisconsin headed out with Captain Ramon and Mate Juan. They had a busy morning reeling in 4 Dorado followed by a slow afternoon on the water. Then BAM! just at the tail end of their trip Patrick reeled in that Striper he's been wanting and seeled the deal in the Baja waters.

And last but not least is the Dixon party from Longview, Washington, this time for their 3rd day on the water was just Doug and Lisa, Kristofer and Dave weren't feeling to well. They were hoping for Marlin their last few days fishing, but just didn't have any luck. But today was a new day. They came in with some Dorado and finally was able to reel in and release that Striped Marlin they'd been wanting. Too bad Kristofer and Dave weren't on board to witness the action! Hope to see you guys back down again soon.

Thanks for checking in with us. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Dorado Saturday

Hey Amigos!

Once again RedRum is posting it's daily Fish Report and I have to say that today was an excellent day for Dorado, and Marlin. The biggest Dorado caught was a 35 pounder so congrats to Doug Dixon and his crew for the good job!

During their second day with us they used dead bait, fished out in San Jose and caught 7 Dorado. Not bad at all!! Tomorrow will be their last day fishin'...unless they decide to book something up for the week but maybe tomorrow they will be able to top today's catch. We'll keep posting up the info for all of you to read!

And once again Willie Gossett and his buds joined us for another great and exciting adventure out in the Pacific. Today they were able to fish up 10 Dorado...WOW!!! and 2 Marlin. Some of Willie's bud decided to spend the day out chillin' while the rest were out there catchin' them like taking candy from a baby!!! Good going dudes.

I know that the meal they had the chef cook for them last night was so delicious they decided to go for it again today so they will be rockin' tonight back at the condos and simply enjoying a Saturday here in Cabo San Lucas.

Keep loggin' in for more information on what goes on at RedRum Sportfishing.
