Windy, Cloudy Thursday

Hey guys
Hope ya'll are doing ok!, not much to report today. We only had 1 boat out with our buddies Sean Goldman and Brad Morley. These guys were out on our 28' Tantrum and reeled in 17 Sierras.

Fishing once again has been slow, but we hope that it will be picking up any time soon! So be patient peeps! By tomorrow I wish to write a good good fish report. We will have 2 boats out and 8 people, so keeping my fingers crossed and one of these guys ends up reeling something good!

A bit of everything!

Hey Guys,

First I have to apologize for not updating the Fish Report since last Saturday. There has been a lot going on, from good fishing, slow fishing to Tsunami Alerts this past weekend...Too much! but everything turned out to be great! We cannot complain.

The weather is nice, and has been nice over these past 5 days. Just a bit windy today, but no bigiges.

Well I sure don't want to bore everyone with my chit chat so I'll go along and tell you how fishing has been doing these past days.

On Saturday Feb. 27th, we had 6 boats out but do to the Tsunami alert and the port closing up and cancelling all water sports our boats until further notice. they had to come in earlier than expected. However, and even though it was basically a half day trip there was a total of 2 Grooper Fish and 4 Trigger fish caught. Not bad at all for a very crazy day as it was!

On Monday March 1st we had Robert Kucinski and Lisa fishing with us. Even though she got a bit sea sick, they were still able to reel in 12 Sierra! very good guys. On March 2nd, we only had Robert come back for more action while Lisa just laid back at the hotel. In the end, Robert came back to the office with 2 Marlin the biggest one weighing 160 Lbs and being 105 inches, 3 Rooster fish and 1/2 a Sierra. Pretty Excellent dude, that's the spirit. It seems as if Marlin is ready to join the fun once again! Thank you guys, hope to see you real soon.

On their second and last trip on March 2nd we had Joe Torolski and his crew aboard El Nuevo and they came back with 13 Yellowfin. These were caught in a 20 mile radius. They took some back with them to get it cooked up and left the rest rock freezing for when they had back home. Thanks guys!

And Today we did pretty good. We had Deam Walsh, Ed, Rick, Lana and Marcia on RumRunnin today. When they walked in the office this morning I told them you better help me with my fishing reports by catchin' something good to type up and so they did!
They came back with 3 Yellowfin and a 6ft long, 150 Lbs Mako Shark. Lana was very excited and was shouting from outside....."It was Great!" I am so glad to hear that. Please don't forget to send us your pix so I can post them up and show everyone your catch!

Come out come out where ever you are!

It's me again with Today's fishing Report.
I don't even want to jinx the fishin' out there, but today we did much better than Yesterday.
I am glad this month is almost over and hopefully in March, fishing will be so much better than the last few weeks.

Today we had 4 of our boats out by the Pacific, Palmilla and Light House. Three of those four boats came back with several goodies!

On RedBeam we had Bill Schechner, Newt, Tyler, Carl, Lewis, Harry and Kevin for a full day charter. They came back after an awesome day out fishing and happily came back with 10 Sierra and 1 skipjack. Excellent guys, I am glad you had a great time out there and thanks for the feedback. We definitely want to see you guys again soon!

The Quin Brothers (Mike and Joe) + their crew, Fred, Jon, Mike Jr, Pat and Tony were on Anzuelo and Grey Light.
The first group to arrive was Joe's party. They got off Anzuelo with 1 Triggerfish, 25 Sierra and after a 15 min battle Tony was able to reel in a 150 Lb. Thresher Shark! Right on Brotha! These guys were on a half day charter but still came back with something good. It's weird because they were doing Inshore fishing...which is basically what's IN today.
Mike's group was aboard Grey Light and they came back with 2 Grooper Fish and 7 Sierra. Not bad either. When these guys came back, they were joking around and telling us how much fun it was. Thanks guys, hope you come back real soon!

RumRunnin did not do good today. But that's what fishing is all about.

Slow Slow day!

Hey guys,

Yesterday was a very very busy day here in RedRum.
We had 11 boats out and around 54 people here at 6:30 AM...It was awesome! we had Gonzalo our picture guy come in to take some shots of everybody to use those photos for out website..so keep on the look out for the new design real soon!!!
Hopefully one day, we will have so many people like this everyday!

But unfortunately fishing is still slow here in Cabo San Lucas. But like one of our customers said, every year is different, last year during this time Marlin was hoping on to the boat on it's own, they were just out there, but this year, the story is not the same.

On Anzuelo, Sol Mar 1 and Fish Tails we had Tom Kiel and his party and they reeled in 13 Sierra . They wen't out for half day fishing and didn't do so bad!

Aboard our 33' Nuevo we had David White and his pals coming back with 2 grooper and 4 trigger fish. Excellent guys! hope you had fun.

In their second day fishing we had Niel Crow and Stan on Tantrum and came back with 5 Sierra
Thanks guys, I hope you enjoyed your stay at the Condos!

From Boston we had James Mantia and crew on RedBeam reeling in a Sierra. Thanks guys for fishing with us!

And last but not least was George Racette coming in with 1 Dorado, 1 Marlin. Hope you enjoy the feast!

Not too much to report

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is doing great. Thank you all for reading and for the comments you've sent me. I will keep on posting for all of you to enjoy.

There really isn't mucho to write about from yesterday's fishing. It wasn't bad but it was not as good as Tuesday's. We had 5 boats out and the total catch as 5 Rooster fish, 29 Sierra and 1 Skipjack. Hopefully today will be a better day and I will keep you guys posted as to what goes on while fishing with us in Cabo San Lucas.

Keeps Gettin' Better

Hi guys,

Sorry for not giving you the heads up on what wen't on with our fishing trips yesterday Feb. 23rd. Office has been a bit busy, but we can't complain...it's all good!!
So we had 5 boats out in the water yesterday, this is how they did:

On Rum Runnin and El Nuevo we had Steve Schippanoski's party of 12. Steve is getting married tomorrow, so it was an All Guys Only fishing trip, sort of like a bacherlor's fishing party...except no strippers!
Rum Runnin' was out 15 miles on the Pacific by Migrino which is between San Lucas and Todos Santos (nice place BTW) and they caught 20 Sierra. Afterwards they were by the Lighthouse and reeled in 1 Roosterfish which was released in the end.
El Nuevo had the similiar fish number on the boat. The other guys reeled in 20 Sierra, 2 Rooster fish and 2 Jack Grevalle. Great job to both teams and congratulations to the groom!

On RedBeam we had Philip Robichaud and his peeps who after a while out in the Pacific side, came back with 2 yellowfin. Great dudes. Hope you come back soon!

On our 28' Tantrum we had Neil and Stan coming back a bit earlier than planned but their catch was 12 Sierra! They will be fishing with us again tomorrow.

And last but not least we had Joe Torolski, William, Eric, Richard and Mark who were on Pescado III and came back from their first day of fishing with 11 Sierra and 1 Sailfish. It seems as if the sailfish are getting ready to bite!

We could do better...

Hello Everyone

Hope you guys are having an excellent day.

I thought things would get a bit better here in Cabo San Lucas (fishing wise) but I spoke too soon. These past days, as you've probably already read, have just been like going downhill. The fish do not want to bite. Offshore fishing is...not good at all. I mean yeah yesterday there was 3 Dorado caught but we'd expect more. Truth is...catching something is not always guaranteed in fishin'!

Inshore, is not as bad as offshore fishing, but it's not great either! I have to be honest with everybody and I can't say "ohh yes, fishing was excellent yesterday" if I know it wasn't, so I am just being honest with all of you.

Yesterday, we had 6 boats out in the water and only a few came back with their catch

On Ziggy and El Nuevo we had for a second and last day Jimmy Zientek and Luke Robinson's party coming back with 3 Dorado and 1 Yellowfin. On their first day which was Sunday, they did not catch a thing, but luckily yesterday things seemed to have been better...in all ways! Thank you guys and I hope you're enjoying your stay at the Portofino Condos!

On our 32' RedBeam we had Dane and Lisa Schindler from Minnesota reeling in a 15Lbs Yellowfin...These guys weren't sure if they wanted to have it fixed for them or take it back home. Whatever their decision was I know they had fun and mostly because it's not common to see sailfish this time of the year so kudos for that buddies!

On Anzuelo we had Todd Leveridge and his guys out by the golden gate bank, and came back with 6 Sierras (Spanish Mackeral), 8 in total but two of them got away..Great guys! Hope to see you around soon!!

I want to thank Scott and Christine Donaldson, who came fishing with us on the 16 of February, for sending in their picture while catching their biggest fish that day! Scott told me Christine was still beaming about the battle that it put up! Someone said it was 10-15 Lbs.
