Fun Day Sunday
Onthe last day of January, its been a tranquilo Sunday on the Marina in Cabo San Lucas. But exciting for the RedRum boats on the water today.
The temperature in the water is about 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Scott & Chris, buddies from Ohio and girlfriendless, headed out with Capt. Javier and Mate Americo aboard RumRunnin. They went between Los Arcos and El Faro on the Pacific side about 3-4 miles out. They caught 2 Dorado on live bait and about 6 Skip Jacks inshore. Nice job gentlemen.
Patrick and Heather from Green Bay, Wisconsin headed out with Captain Ramon and Mate Juan. They had a busy morning reeling in 4 Dorado followed by a slow afternoon on the water. Then BAM! just at the tail end of their trip Patrick reeled in that Striper he's been wanting and seeled the deal in the Baja waters.
And last but not least is the Dixon party from Longview, Washington, this time for their 3rd day on the water was just Doug and Lisa, Kristofer and Dave weren't feeling to well. They were hoping for Marlin their last few days fishing, but just didn't have any luck. But today was a new day. They came in with some Dorado and finally was able to reel in and release that Striped Marlin they'd been wanting. Too bad Kristofer and Dave weren't on board to witness the action! Hope to see you guys back down again soon.
Thanks for checking in with us. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Dorado Saturday
Hey Amigos!
Once again RedRum is posting it's daily Fish Report and I have to say that today was an excellent day for Dorado, and Marlin. The biggest Dorado caught was a 35 pounder so congrats to Doug Dixon and his crew for the good job!
During their second day with us they used dead bait, fished out in San Jose and caught 7 Dorado. Not bad at all!! Tomorrow will be their last day fishin'...unless they decide to book something up for the week but maybe tomorrow they will be able to top today's catch. We'll keep posting up the info for all of you to read!
And once again Willie Gossett and his buds joined us for another great and exciting adventure out in the Pacific. Today they were able to fish up 10 Dorado...WOW!!! and 2 Marlin. Some of Willie's bud decided to spend the day out chillin' while the rest were out there catchin' them like taking candy from a baby!!! Good going dudes.
I know that the meal they had the chef cook for them last night was so delicious they decided to go for it again today so they will be rockin' tonight back at the condos and simply enjoying a Saturday here in Cabo San Lucas.
Keep loggin' in for more information on what goes on at RedRum Sportfishing.

Great, Amazing, Fantabulous Friday
Hey People,
Well it's Friday and I am sure most of you will have some sort of special event going on tonight, maybe a nice meal, some delicious Margartias or simply just chill and enjoy the rest of the evening. I know for a fact that our good friends who enjoyed a good time on our boats Tantrum, Red Beam, El Nuevo, Grey Light and Ziggy all have something cool going on tonight.
It was a good day fishing out in the pacific today here in Cabos we have very nice weather, really sunny yet not too hot...just perfect!
So this day started off with Doug, Dave and Kristofer showing up to our office but leaving some of their gear in the taxi they took from their hotel to our offices, luckily the "missing bag" was spotted on time and brought back for them to pick up and enjoy a great day fishing.
It was the second day fishing and last for our friend Steve and his crew Pete and Michele who even though thought today was a slow day they still had a great time and were able to catch a Dorado and Tuna. They had in mind drinking some famous Cabos Margaritas and just spend the rest of the day chillin' before they have to leave this fabulous place! So bottoms up dudes and have some delicious Margaritas for all of the RedRum crew.
It was also Willie Gossett and his pals Paul, Allen, Wyane, Michael, Murray, Joe, Kelly and Marshall's second day fishing with us and they also had an awesome time out today. They are really looking forward in having a private Chef go up to one of the condos and cook them a delicous Yellowfin Tuna (fished by them) with a traditional Mexican dish on the side to enjoy the this day. Maybe some great Enchiladas, Wacamole, tacos, some Chiles Rellenos or hey maybe even some Spicy Green Salsa Chilaquiles!!! Yummy! the real Cabo Way! Cool guys I hope you come in tomorrow to enjoy your third day fishing with only the best...RedRum of course!
Paul Moleski and his buds Greg, Doug and Brad also had a super cool day with us, they caught 3 Dorado, a Marlin and 5 Yellowtail Tuna great going guys! Don't know how they will finish off the rest of the day but I am pretty sure they will be rockin' it!
So, keep reading out our posts and remember... If you wanna relax...go fish in a river but if it's excitement you are looking for we will give you an experience you will never forget!!!
Peace Out!

Catching up, once again... and possible exciting news on the horizon.
As many of you know, Diana, our former office manager left the RedRum family and is now teaching English in Thailand. That being said, Brooke and I have been busy picking up the slack and interviewing new candidates and we think we are very close to making a decision. We have always tried to build this business and the client base around the idea of "family." We want all the clients to feel like family and our employees to feel like family. We also know that all of you like to see the same smiling faces each and every year, so we are looking for someone that is willing to stick around for the long haul. That being said, I know there are some of you that get a little feisty when the fish report skips a day or two, things should be back to normal soon.
Mid-week last week around the 20th and 21st we had some good fishing again, with Captain Ron and his crew back at it again catching 4 Dorado and 12 Sierra. Scott Pearson and his crew also had some great fishing with the guys on Rum Runnin hooking them up with 6 Dorado and 1 Wahoo. Seemed like there were only 1 or 2 Marlin coming in each day from the 20th through the 23rd. We did have a few boats that struck out during that time frame as well, but it was usually clients that really wanted to focus on a specific species.
One guy that wanted to really focus Ryan Esko. Ryan was joining us for two days of fishing from Miami, Florida. Ryan and his gal, Valeria, had a few fish on day one, but got skunked on day two and still had not had a shot at a Marlin. They took a day to re-group and gave it one more shot and it paid off big time. Ryan landed his first ever Marlin after close to 24 hours of fishing. That is certainly dedication, and a fish that Ryan can be very proud of.
Stay tuned tomorrow, hopefully we have some exciting news about a new member of Team RedRum!
