Hey people, I want to begin off by wishing Brooke a Happy Birthday! She took the day off and wen't with Hubby Ryan to chill out at the beach today, what a cool way to spend the day! So let's all wish her a huge Happy B-Day!
Lucky day for some, not too good for others. We had 6 boats out today going to several "hot spots" but same ol' same ol' fish are not biting. They just love to swim around the boat and teasing but they don't bite. Our guys spotted Marlin, Yellowfin and Wahoo but these little suckers are playin' around with us!
Out of the 6 boats we had only 3 were able to catch fish. On the 28' Tantrum Captain Ramon and Mate Omar went out fishing for half a day with Sharon and Carl Carley. They got off the cruise ship just to get on another boat. They struck 1 Marlin and 1 Dorado in the end. Great guys! so glad ya'll caught fish. These folks were awesome people and very friendly, it's their second time fishing with RedRum. Hope they decide to do it again in the near future.
On the 42' Pescado III Lloyd Yancey and his crew were having a blast reeling in the 25 Lbs Wahoo they caught and the Dorado. Not sure on the weight of the Dorado but at least it's something right?
Thanks you guys!
and last but not least for their second day of fishing Ryan and Hilary Lifheit along with Andrew wen't out on RumRunnin' with Captain Javier and Mate Americo. Andrew came in the morning and just got his stash of RedRum Gear! He will be rockin those shirts back home. Cool buddy!
These guys had a great time out there and even though it was a bit rough in the morning they had a blast as waters calmed a bit once hiting the afternoon hours. They reeled in a 30 Lb Wahoo. They were fishing 20 miles off Cerro Blanco.
Our targets today were Cerro Blanco, Light House and the Pacific side, that's where all the warm waters are right now and that's where fish have been biting these last couple of days!
Thank you all for reading.

Sorry for the delay!
Hey guys,
Sorry for the late posts but we've been having some trouble posting our fish reports. But it seems like this time it's working fine.
Not much has been going on these past few days, we've been catching Yellowfin, Dorado and a couple of Marlin from Sunday up to Yesterday.
Yesterday we had 5 boats out but not all of them were lucky enough to catch fish. On Fish Tails we had Champ Hollingshad and his team out for a full day of fishing and after 8 hours of fishing they came back with a 30Lb yellowfin. They also came accross some squid but we all know what this means right?
They did a great job and had fun out there. Hope to see them soon.
On Cabo Chica Jay Bocci and his crew were fishing 10 miles off by Water Prieto a nice hot spot where they reeled in 3 yellowfin tuna. Not sure what size they were but I am assuming they were between 15 -25 Lbs since this is the average size of yellowfin for these past days.
Fishing is slow again. Weather has been nice and the waves are smoother than last week. It's not even choppy out there. We blame El Nino! Our guys try very hard to catch fish and we do our best but fishing is fishing we can't guarantee catching anything and it's hard sometimes to try to make people understand or be aware of this, not trying to sound harsh or rude, just wanting to let you know our point of view on this.
I will let you know how fishing went today.
and I'll keep you posted.
Thanks guys!

Happy Birthday Ryan!
Happy Friday to all of you!!! There isn't much to report today. Fishing was not good. We had the Jasien Family fishing with us for the first time. They were here to celebrate Lance's birthday and they were expecting to catch a Marlin as a birthday gift...that would've been awesome!!! Unfortunately, the outcome was not so good.
Captain Omar and Mate Americo were on the 32' RumRunnin fishing on the Sea of Cortez side (San Jose del Cabo) but all they came accross was waves, wind, rougher waves and stronger winds. They spotted a Marlin but he didn't bite. Today's weather was worst than yesterday's. The guys had no luck out there today.
Winds are extremley strong, as I was driving this morning from San Jose down to the office I swear my car was zig zaggin' on its own because the winds were simply very strong.
And according to the weather website, it seems as tomorrow it will be the same. I will keep you updated.
On Another note, Let's all wish Ryan Donovan a big Happy Birthday as he is out celebrating his 31st B-day today by playing golf somewhere here in Cabo San Lucas. Don't know if he has a party planned for later this evening or not. He came into the office this morning to run some errands but in the end left early....of course buddy, you should've been here in the first place, Sorry I dragged you down. 'FELIZ CUMPLEANOS Picoso! on behalf of the whole RedRum Team!
Have a nice Friday everyone,
Thanks for Reading.

WINDY WINDY WINDY
Good Morning to all.
Yesterday's fishing was ok, we only had 1 boat out. Winds have been like crazy, it started off really windy and cold in the morning then it got warm but the winds still kept blowing! They were doing 20 mph, guess how choppy the waves were?.....very choppy but still Captain Ramon and mate Omar did a very good job in helping Niel and Laura Wilson catch some fish.
This is the second day Captain ramon has been heading out 15 miles off Cerro Blanco, "The White Hill" and he's been doing great. Yesterday's catch consisted of two 20lb Dorado and a 30 Lb Mako Shark.
I am sure the Nielsons took it back to their place to get it cooked up and enjoy a nice meal!
Thank you for fishing with us guys.
On Wednesday we had a similar situation. We had 3 boats out but one of them had to come back early do to seasickness. Waves were rough!
On Rum Runnin Captain Javier and Mate Americo did a wonderful job catching 3 yellowin, the biggest one being 20Lbs. Tom and Ginna Walsh along with Jared and Mary Ann McDavit wen't out for a full day of fishing, and even though it took them a while to find our offices they still had an awesome day. They called me around 6:50 AM to ask how to get to our offices...you can imagine how hard it is when you don't actually know where your customers are at (and with no Coffee in the system.....ohh boy!) But in the end, they found us and it was a great day after all!
Another day for Tantrum hitting Cerro Blanco. Mark Hughes came in the office about to cancel since all his pals got sick a day before, but in the end decided to do it all on his own! He was like..."if I am sick I still go fishing!" That's the spirit buddy. I am glad you decided to come a long and catch some fish. On this day Tantrum and Mark caught a 20Lb Yellowfin, not bad at all!
Even though the winds are blowing strong, we are still catching fish guys! so don't be afraid to come to Cabo and enjoy a day of fishing with us.
Thanks for reading!

Rough Waves....Again
Hola Amigos!
It's always good to hear people say "we've been reading your fish reports, keep writing them" or "You're the guy who writes the fish reports, huh?" my answer is yes, why? and they answer, "oh because you talk just like you write" I had never thought I sounded like I write! but it's all good, it's just good to know you guys follow along on RedRum's Fish reports.
Waves are rough/choppy once again. It's weird that during morning hours, there is hardly any wind, but once it hits 12:30-1:00 PM that's when it becomes very windy, blowing around 15-20 mph and today was no exception. Everyone who came back today said the same thing, man it's rough out there!
I just hope this choppy condition goes by really fast!
Today we had 3 boats out.
On Nuevo, we had Sarah and Josh along with John and Ryan Donovan fishing with Captain Alex and Mate Manuel on the Pacific side by the Jaime bank. Sarah caught her first Wahoo ever! It took her 20 min to reel it in and it weighed 40Lbs. Pretty nice size and excellent job Sarah! Congrats! Josh did very good as well, he caught a 15Lbs Dorado which took a little over 15 min to reel in, I could tell they had an awesome time, although I think Sarah was a bit dizzy from the choppy waves, or so I heard ;)
You both did great, I am glad you decided to do this! They both caught and released their catch
On our 28' Tantrum Stacey Baum and Miro Pull were fishing with captain Ramon and Mate Juan. They caught a nice size Dorado during their full day trip. They went fishing by the Pacific side as well. It seems Dorado is hitting the ocean again. Glad to see this outcome!
Good job guys.
and last but not least we had Dawn Zischke, Shea Zischke, Sophia and Kevin Boyle fishing out on our 32' RumRunnin with Capatin Javier and Mate Americo. They had an awesome time but of course choppy waves struck again, so that was the only bad part. Luckily we can't get blamed for that ! =)
These folks caught 2 Dorado, brought some back to get it vacuumed sealed and frozen up for them to take back home. Hopefully they will fish with us again in the near future. Thanks guys, glad to know you had a great time!
I will keep you posted on how well fishing goes here in cabo...Land's End!
Thanks
Nick
