Hola Amigos!! Pretty solid day for fishing for the Redrum fleet today. All the boats headed to the Sea of Cortez side where the bite has been pretty consistant for Torro fish, Stripe Marlin, and some nice Dorado!
Our boys on Utopia headed out with Rene for a day of fishing on the beautiful Hatteras. John Blouin and his friends hooked up with 2 Stripe Marlin and were able to get one up to the boat.
Jaren Scott and his buddies rented out El Nuevo for the day and hooked into 3 Torro fish as well as a nice sized Stripe Marlin. Alex said the Marlin was just over 100", which is a great fish!
On their shared charter day, Martina and Keith Ouellette headed out with Chris Hall. They were able to split time reeling in a nice Stripe Marlin while fishing with Javier on Rum Runnin.
Brian and Pam Dewitt from Michigan fished on Red Beam today. Brian was interested in adding another trophy to his "wall of fame", one that already has a nice Sailfish, and a few other animals from Africa that I cannot even remember! He was able to add to the wall by catching a monster 101", 165 pound Stripe Marlin. It was the second Marlin of the day for he and his wife. Great fish and enjoy the trophy!!
Doug and Karen McMillan fished with Mr. Cesar on Tantrum today and had themselves a great time. "We would defiantely come back and fish with you guys again. We will tell all of our friends to come and see you guys", is what Karen told me when they got back. Cesar was able to hook them into 5 Torro's, 1 catch and release Marlin and a nice Dorado for dinner. A special shout out to all of the McMillan's friends who are checking out the report today. Your friends are safe, maybe a little buzzed from the cold Coronas and tired from fighting nice fish all day!
It was very nice meeting you guys and I hope to see you again in Cabo!
It was awesome meeting everyone that was able to fish with Redrum today. Great group of people! I look foward to meeting those comming up and hope the fish keep on biting!
Saludos,
Luis
