Don't let the full moon fool you! The fishing has been off the hook, no pun intended, the last few days. Although the fishing tale says that you can't catch fish on a full moon, well check out what's been biting the last few days and see if you are still a believer in that myth.
So here is the scoop on the latest and greatest that Cabo waters has offered those fishing with RedRum during full moon phase. The past few days we've been blessed with such fun, happy and easy going fisherpeople. Thanks guys for fishing with RedRum.
On Friday the 9th, sunny skies graced us once again and the boats headed out for "El Faro" also known as The Lighthouse. Bill aboard RumRunnin headed out for a quick half day trip and happened upon 1 dorado and 1 mako shark! Wow, we don't see those too often. Mr. Gasky and son Will as always head out with their favorite panga Captain Carlos. They had plenty of dorado and rooster to take home for dinner that night.
On Saturday the 10th, ReelRum, headed out solo again with the Davalos from Philly. Nick and Greg along with grandfater Bob. They were a part of the Stay & Play package and had a great time at the Portofino Condos as well as time spent on the water. This was their second day fishing and boy did they nail it once again with 3 marlin, 2 dorado and 2 rooster. Very nice job gentleman, we hope you come back and see us!
And today, rounding off the weekend, was the Fryatt group from Wisconsin. A fun group of guys with a groom on board, first day of his married life by the way. They reeled in 4 marlin, 1 dorado and 1 hammerhead. The Hughston on day 1 of their 2 day fishing trip aboard RumRunnin reeled in 2 marlin and 2 dorado, plenty for dinner as well I'd imagine. And last but not least The Nally's, probably the 2 nicest people from Kansas and as excited as ever about that big marlin had a fantastic day on the water, reeling in 2 marlin and 3 dorado. The dorado just got vacuum sealed and is ready for frozen cooler travel back to the U.S. of A.
So being the only female and holding down the fort while the boys are out stirring up new business, I've been growing in my role, and have offically moved up to writing the fish report now and again. My name is Brooke by the way, so nice to meet all of you readers.
