Wow this has been such a busy day.
Tsunami alerts, leaving the office and coming back after everything went back to normal, traffic is a bit crazy on the way from San Jose to Cabo and a lot of people at the beach just chillaxin! well I think that's better than having a bunch of people freaking out because of the possible Tsunami!
Anyhow with all the commotion I was almost forgetting to let you in the fish report for these past two days.
We can't complain, fishing is slow but we've been doing really good. I can't say the same for all of our customers who unfortunately weren't so lucky.
Robert Sorensen fished on RumRunnin with Captain Javier and Mate Jesus and they caught and released 2 striped Marlins. One of them was 140 lbs while the other only 120Lbs. Still great size fish! John and his crew had a great time out in the water after they had a small problem on their way to our office.
CCA LA members John Humphrey and his crew Richard, Sam, Chuck and John fished on nuevo for the first time with Alex and Manuel. on their first trip John Humphrey landed his first Striped Marlin. It was an 8ft 140 Lbs trophy fish! John was scheduled to fish again today but with the port being closed we has rescheduled for tomorrow. Let's hope he has another awesome day out there!
On Wednesday March 9th we also had a great day of fishing.
Mark and Loreen Gastineau and fished on Nuevo with Captain Alex and Mate Ramon and during their trip they landed 8 sierra. Focused on an offshore trip but they had no luck with Marlin.
From Ohio we had Todd Grisier, David Davis, Sabrina Grisier and Adea Davis who fished a full day aboard RedRum with Captain Omar and Mate Americo. They landed 6 sierra, 1 Roosterfish, 1 Yellowtail and 1 jack grevalle. Not a bad day for inshore fishing huh?
and last but certainly not least Doug Banks and his crew Richard Webor, Trent Cottom, William Totton and Jayden (one of these guys from VALLEJO!! my home town)
fished on RumRunnin with Captain Javier and mate Jesus. Jayden who's only 8 years old relled in his first Striped Marlin that was 120 Lbs 7 ft in only 16 min! strong little boy! He was stoked to have reeled in that big fish all on his own...oh yeah, he also told me he slept for an hour and a half while trolling for the fish haha.
This awesome crew from Northern Cali fished by the Golden Gate and aside from the Marlin they also landed 4 Sierra and 2 Bonita. Congratulations Jayden!
