A breezy day in Cabo keeps the temperature just right as the sun shines down!
Pescado III on a half day trip was the first boat back today with a fun crew from Minneapolis and Tempe, Arizona. They were glad to get out of the chilly weather up north! They headed out to the Sea of Cortez in hopes of catching a Marlin. They were in luck, amidst all the whale watching they were doing, they reeled in a nice 93" Striped Marlin. Everyone had a chance to get on the rod and reel and experience what a great fight those guys put up. Nice job!
Second boat back was RumRunnin with the Hofer Family from North Dakota. These guys were all smiles despite being up so early on their spring break vacation! They eagerly hopped aboard with Captain Javier and Mate Jesus and headed out to the Sea of Cortez in hopes of Marlin. They went out about 20 miles along the shore and about 17 miles out, but the Marlin weren't having it, though they got lots of whale watching action. It was a bit rough out that way with the windy weather but they were able to reel in 6 Sierra along shore. They were stoked as everyone got a chance on the reel, more so the boys! They are off to enjoy their catch for lunch at Mango Cantina.
Next back was Father Rick Moore and his daugher Rachel and her boyfriend Joseph, visiting from college in Washington D.C. Dad along with these two college sophmores were ready for a fun day on the water during their spring break aboard Tantrum with Captain Ramon. They headed out to the Pacific Side and decided it was a bit too rough so headed to the Sea of Cortez about 7 miles out. They were in the midst of lots of Striped Marlin jumping around at the surface. They were finally able to get one to hang on and bring him aboard! A nice 9 footer. Great job guys!
Buddies Phil and Mike headed out for a second day of fishing this time aboard RedRum. They had a fantastic day inshore on the Sea of Cortez. Between the two of them they caught some 24 Sierra. More than enough for dinner!
Roger, Paige, Rebecca, Nicholas and Nancy from Indiana and Tempe, Arizona headed out on El Nuevo with Captain Alex and Mate Manuel. They headed way out on the Sea of Cortez to Punta Gorda where Nancy reeled in her 96" Striped Marlin on a ballyhood lure! They were all ecstatic. While they were way out there they did happen upon some Tuna, but none made it up to the boat. They were also happy to bring in one Sierra for a late lunch this afternoon.
Well that's all I've got for today.
We thank you for reading and for your business!
