June 21st – Happy Father’s Day
Another sunny cloudless day in Cabo. Many people are enjoying their day off to celebrate Father’s Day with family and friends here and I’m sure everywhere. There was a lucky few that decided to spend that day on the water. The temperature in Cabo is sitting at about 93 degrees Fahrenheit with a SSE wind of about 12 mph.
The first boat back was ReelRum with Americo and Slim (Omar had the day off) with a crew from Scottsdale on board. Jeremy Grogan, Lyndsey Rupert along with Father Daughter Duo, Pat and Chrystal. They headed out to the Sea of Cortez and had a good morning on the water. They came back a bit earlier than normal but Chrystal was able to reel in her first ever Striped Marlin.
El Nuevo came back early and had nothing… The Schwarzlose party was diminished significantly this morning with only two of the original six going fishing today. The guys decided a half day was enough, and without much luck they came back without any flags flying.
Paul Spann, Grant McLay and Ross Mclay went fishing today for the fourth time in four days and had another great day. They caught one Marlin, which unfortunately would not have survived, one nice Dorado and one Yellowfin Tuna. These guys were rewarded with great fishing during their four charters and have a few coolers of fillets to show for it!
Pat Boehmer was lucky enough to fish with his daughter Carly today and they had a great Father’s Day on the water. Muneca and Tata on the Red Beam were able to hook them into a nice Dorado. Father’s day dinner should be great with that Dorado!
Jason Mensik, Doug and Bill Wilkerson, Jared Currey, Aaron Greene and Jacob Lee headed out on Rum Runnin today with Javier and Manuel. They headed back towards the 95 bank, and got into some big Dorado. Two of the four Dorado they caught weighed more than 45lbs, and two others around 25lbs were brought in. Glad you guys had a great day. Felicidades, to the Groom.
