June 9th Fish Report

With consistenly strong winds still moving in from the Pacific side, Sea of Cortez has been the "hot spot" for Redrum anglers and boats.

Today Alex headed out with Ramon and the Nelson Family. Mr. Nelson wnated to see nothing more than his son catch a Marlin. Alex made it happen. Little Mr. Nelson had a great time catching and releasing nice Stripe Marlin as did his father and the rest of the Nelson family.

Nancy Ince and the Goldman sisters headed out on Rum Runnin and caught a huge, 104" Stripe Marlin and were able to release it. They were also able to catch a 96" one. They will have one more day of fishing with Javier and Americo to try to catch a larger Marlin for a replica.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson fished on Red Beam this morning and were able to catch a nice Stripe Marlin as well as a large Dorado. They will also have a day 2 of fishing, next time on Tantrum with Cesar.

Our pal Eric fished on Tantrum today and pulled in a couple too many Torro fish or, "African Tuna" as Cesar calls them. He was also able to catch and release a Stripe Marlin. Fittingly, he also has another day of fishing with Cesar on Wednesday.

Although it is a little windy still, the fishing is good. We expect the winds to die down within the near future and the big Dorado bite to finally pick back up again!
