Javier found some Marlin!

Today we had 4 charters on the books, but only had 3 groups show up. That 4th group definitely missed out on some great action, as Javier and Cesar found the fish today. Ulyses didn't really get a chance to find the fish, but we'll get to that later.

Water temps are still very warm, mid to high 70's, and Caballito is still the predominent bait being sold and the guys are trolling cedar plugs and hoochies for the Tuna, big lures in a variety of colors for Marlin and using live bait for the inshore species.

David Gregg is down from Solana Beach, California... right near my old stomping grounds. Congrats to David as his youngest daughter is getting married here in Los Cabos this weekend. David brought a group from the wedding party over to fish for the day with Ramon and Javier. Unfortunately, a few people had trouble getting down here so Ramon and Juan on TantRum got left out of the action today.

Javier headed out with David and a few of his friends and they had a great day on the water. The guys headed straight out from Cabo or El Zero as they like to call it and found some good water and action about 15 miles out. They fished the area and were rewarded with 2 Marlin that they got to the boat and another that they lost. Great day for David and his friends and hard work by Javier and Americo.

The other group we had today was the folks from ICore. They had two boats today, the 31' Grey Light and the 32' RedBeam. Unfortunately, the guys on Grey Light with Ulyses felt a little under the weather once they got out to the fishing grounds so they had to turn around and cut their day short. The guys on RedBeam, however, did a little better. Cesar put the guys on some fish right off the bat with some inshore fishing for Sierra. After 12 or so Sierra, they headed offshore and were able to catch and release a nice HammerHead Shark.

Great day overall for the RedRum crews!
