Moving a little slow today...

On the water, and in the office. Last night's festivities were a blast! Brooke and I hosted a Tacky Tourist Party in honor of all the Spring Breakers in town. We figured we needed to give our local friends an outlet to make fools of themselves like the rest of the folks in Cabo right now. With the final "tourists" leaving around 3:30am, Brooke and I are moving a bit slow today.

First boat to return today was El Nuevo RedRum with Andy Strine and his boys. This was Andy's second trip this week with us and it sounds like they had another nice day on the water. The Dorado aren't exactly slamming the lures when they are interested so that is causing a lot of fish to be lost after the strike. The guys on El Neuvo had 6 bites slow trolling live bait and then lures and were able to bring in 2 Dorado. Nice size fish as well.

Next back was Randy and his crew from Joe Assenza's group. Randy dropped back by the office to let us know that they had a very nice day on the water. They encountered some finicky fish and weren't able to land any, but they said the weather was great on the water. A little bumpy with the wind picking up on the way back in, but nice blue 72 degree water on the Cortez where they fished.

Next was Scott Fulton and his boy Trey. Trey was feeling a bit under the weather last night and they weren't sure that he was going to be able to make it. Fortunately, a good night sleep was all he needed. Scott and Trey had a nice day bringing in 2 Bull Dorado's and 2 female Dorado's. The Bull's had some decent size to them as well, Scott said he had a 30lber and 25lber.

Finally, we had the rest of Joe Assenza's group on Rum Runnin. Joe and his crew were able to reel in 4 dorado out on the Sea of Cortez as well as one nice sized cabrilla and some sierra as well. Joe and his crew are staying in the Portofino Condos and have enjoyed themselves thus far. They'll be heading out again tomorrow for more action. And speaking of action, Joe brought us in a nice check today to be donated to the Mundo Star soccer program, which raises money for local Cabo kids to be able to play soccer. If you haven't heard about Mundo Star, there are some great pictures of the kids posted in our Photos section. Ask us how you can help sponsor just one team for as little as $150 per year. They'll even put your logo or name on the jerseys!

We'll see you all tomorrow!
