Karen's Giant Marlin

Just got some great photos from a charter that took place last January where Karen caught an almost record sized Marlin. Enjoy!

Joey and Ashley from Louisiana

Our good friend Joey and his wife Ashley went fishing on October 2nd, 3rd and 4th. They sent us their photos and we wanted to share with everyone.

OCTOBER 2nd

Joey and his wife Ashley from New Iberia, Louisiana went out on our 32’ partner boat for the first for three days fishing. Captain Federico took the couple fishing at Los Arcos as well as the Lighthouse on the Pacific side, two miles from shore. Joey caught and released a hundred and twenty pound Striped Marlin using living bait. Ashley caught the second largest of 9 Dorado, weighing thirty pounds. Joey caught the fifty pound bull Dorado. They were trying to bait another Marlin when the bull came in and ate the bait. Two of the smaller Dorado’s were released and the rest were donated to the crew.

OCTOBER 3rd

Joey, Ashley, Jonathan and Lori went out for the second time this week on our 32’ partner boat with Captain Federico. It was slower than yesterday after their Marlin and 7 Dorado but they did not go home empty handed. The friends caught 2 Dorado that weighed close to twenty pounds. They fished Los Arcos on the Pacific side a mile from shore.
