Slowly but Surely

A bit of a cloudy day here in Cabo with quite a chill this morning... well for Cabo anyways. But nothing compared to the negative temperatures I hear from clients in Canada or the Midwest. That's why you should be reading this report on a beach, not after you've shoveled your walk!

So one of the condo crews, Thomas, Gary, John, Carlie and Kenneth were back at it for day two on the water. They said even in Texas it's been chilly! Anyways, they were on El Nuevo with Captain Alex, yes, he's back from his vacation. They fished out at the Lighthouse and were able to pull in one catch and release Marlin from the surface on stitched bait.

The other group staying over at the Portofino Condos was also on their second day of fishing. Paul along with family and friends Patrick, Katherine, Belinda and Laurie were out on RumRunnin with Captain Chivo. They too fished at the Lighthouse, but found the marlin deep pitching live bait. They all took turns reeling in 2 catch and release Striped Marlin.

Our partner boat Grey Light took out Trenton from Houston. He made a last minute reservation last night and couldn't bare leaving Cabo without getting some fishing in. He was flying solo on the water after enjoying the day and night festivties that Cabo has to offer during the New Year holiday. He was stoked to catch a 98" Striped Marlin which he rleased and 1 Dorado out at the Lighthouse. On his way back in just about 2 miles from shore, the got into some Snapper, about 8 of them. Not bad for a 1/2 day!

Thanks for checking in with us. Hope everyone is having a great start to 2010!

On a side note, the Fiesta Bowl is a sensative subject. We were sorry to see TCU loose their undefeated winning streak against Boise. The good wife that I am, stayed back along with Diana to cover for John and Ryan while they enjoyed the "Fiesta" at the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix. Now they are off to work in Denver and Dallas. For those of you in Denver, be sure to stop by the Sportsmens Expo and say hello to John. And any Dallas Safari Club members, be sure to stop by and pay Ryan a visit. Hasta Luego.
