Fishing after Jimena

Hola Anglers. We got a visit from hurricane Jimena on tuesday and the Marina was closed for two days so we had to go without fishing but we were back at it today. Thankfully Jimena did not reach the strength expected of it on our shore and the Marina and town are doing well and as busy as ever.

Daniel, Jason, Buddy, Kim, Natasha and Kris from Texas went out for their first day of fishing for the week on our 33’ El Nuevo with Captain Alex and Mate Ramon. The water was calm after Jimena has passed and they headed east to Golden Gate where water temperature was at 82 degrees. There they used lures to catch a twenty pound Dorado and four fifteen to twenty pound Tuna, only six miles from shore.
