"I don't do email."

One of the all time classic lines this morning came from my buddy Mario Gallo. Mario, a 5 year old, fishing with his dad Nick and Uncle Cosmo is from New Jersey and came in sporting his Yankees hat. This as you may well know created instant problems. I tried to put our differences aside and get off on the right foot so to speak, even though I wanted to rip that hat off and give him a noogie! But, I digress. Dad was filling out the activity waiver and I asked him to sign for his son as well, as he was under age. With a straight face, Nick turned to his son and asked him for his email address when he got to that portion of the form. Mario replied, "Dad, you know I don't mess with email." I had a pretty solid early morning laugh session with that one.

Back to the fishing. Cosmo, Nick and Mario had a rough go of things the last time they were in Cabo and gave us a shot after walking in the office a few days ago and talking with me. I assured them we were not in the sight-seeing business and that they would have a great day on the water. Luckily the fish co-operated and the guys stayed busy bringing in a few Yellowfin Tuna and 5 Dorado. Look forward to seeing you guys again, just leave the Yankees hats at home.

Jason Robinson, Yangzi Zhao, Mike Schaeffer, Vikash Gupta, Nick Czabaraneck, and Stephan Howsepian all buddies from work, joined us aboard El Nuevo RedRum today. Captain Alex did a great job getting everyone into the action with 10 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Dorado! The guys had a blast and will be enjoying their catch at Misiones de Kino tonight.

Kenneth Richter and his bride Amanda were visiting us from Columbus, Texas today. Kenneth and Amanda fished with Javier and Juan aboard Rum Runnin and while they didn't get into the Yellowfin, they did catch and release a nice Striped Marlin in the 150lb class.

Rondi Perry and his daughters Maggie and Shelbe from Fort Worth, Texas were our guests aboard the RedBeam today. They had a great day on the water and brought in 2 Dorado.

Finally, we had our very good friend Rusty Magliozzi and his beautiful new bride Kathleen all the way from Massachusetts. Rusty and Kathleen fished with Omar and Americo aboard ReelRum and we were able to give them quite the honeymoon present. Omar found the fish early and got them hooked up with 8 Yellowfin Tuna and a Dorado!

Tuesday's catch...

Things seem to be on the up and up as we get further away from the full moon this past weekend. Yellowfin bite has been good and Dorado have picked up as well. Marlin are still a little finicky, must be gearing up for the fall feeding frenzy. The guys fished the Pacific, Jaime Bank, and Los Arcos. Captain Javier even ventured out about ten miles from Jaime Bank, finding a nice school of Yellowfin.

DC Collins, David Cain and David Snapp, all from Dallas, Texas joined us aboard ReelRum today. Captain Omar and Americo got things going for the guys early with a Striped Marlin catch and release to start the day. After that, however, it was all Yellowfin. The guys caught 6 nice fish, one in the 60lb class. Good stuff guys, look forward to seeing you again soon.

Bob Gustafson and his son Eric, were back at it again. Trying to see if they could do a bit better than yesterday. They had a plane to catch at 7pm, so they were really maximizing their time here in Cabo. Day two was much better than day one as they too caught 6 nice Yellowfin.

Finally, Dayle Binder, Kelly Ronelen, and Stacy Corey took their munchkins Michael, Joleze and Dmitre out for a day on the water. All the kids did great, and each was able to bring in their own fish. The ladies and their kids finished the day with 8 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 nice Dorado, while fishing some 30 miles from the Marina out past Jaime Bank. Kudos to the kids as they did a great job on the water.
