Marlin and Dorado Day

Marco, Dave, Chad, Mike, John and Scott old friends from a while back came to Cabo to play like old times. They went out on our 32’ RedBeam with Captain Marcial and Mate Fabian and had a great time with their crew. They fished Los Arcos on the Pacific side just half a mile from shore and caught 4 fifteen pound Dorado, one of which was released and caught and released a hundred and twenty five pound Striped Marlin. They hooked two more Marlin they unfortunately got away.

Kevin, Amanda, Larry, Royce, Marsha and Kathleen went out for the second time this week on our 32’ RumRunnin with Captain Javier and Mate Manuel. They fished Los Arcos sixteen miles from the Marina and two miles from shore. The group shared in the fight and catching of 8 ten to thirty pound Dorado. They also caught and released a hundred and eighty pound, eight and a half foot Striped Marlin. Larry caught that baby. The group fought a Wahoo and another Marlin but the lucky ones got away.

Nikki, Cindy and Dennis went out on our 32’ partner boat and caught and released 2 Marlin by the lighthouse. The Marlin weighed a hundred and the second, a hundred and fifty pounds. They also caught 7 Dorado by Los Arcos and released three of them.

Bruce and Pam from Savage, MN went out on our 33’ El Nuevo with Captain Alex and Mate Ramon. They fished the lighthouse point five miles from shore where water temperature was at eighty six degrees. The couple caught a twenty pound Dorado as well as 2 Marlin weighing 140 and 160 pounds which they released.

The MacDonalds father and son came in on a cruise ship this morning and fished with Captain Salvador from our 28’ partner boat. They fished the Pacific and caught and released a hundred and thirty pound Striped Marlin using live bait. They also fished Cabeza de Ballena on the Cortez side and caught 4 Dorado that weighed up to thirty pounds.

Mark, Mike, Tracy and Aaron from San Diego, CA went out on our 28’ ReelRum with Captain Omar and Mate Americo. They fished from the lighthouse point to Las Margaritas on the Pacific side and caught 9 Dorado weighing between twenty and thirty pounds, 3 of which were released.

Kenneth, Debbie, Barry and Marie went out on our 31’ partner boat with Captain Ulises. They fished Los Arcos, four miles from shore where water temperature was at eighty three degrees. The friends caught 9 Dorado weighing up to thirty pounds, two of which they released. Barry stole the seat from his wife when he spotted a Sail and fought and released the hundred pound baby.
