Monday's results

After the full moon we saw some slow fishing over weekend but things were back in full force today for RedRum clients. The boys fished an area in between the Lighthouse and the Golden Gate bank on the Pacific that they call Los Arcos. Water temps were around 84 degrees and the boys were fishing 2 to 7 miles offshore.

Ryan and Maria Crossman were the first ones back, after fishing with Javier and Manuel on Rum Runnin. Fishing the Los Arcos area with lures and live bait Caballito's Javier and Manuel were able to put the Crossman's on 5 Dorado, 2 of which they released.

Bryan Dabbs and his son Blake, who is attending TCU right now, are from Austin Texas and were dying to get on the water in Cabo San Lucas. They fished with Captain Omar and Americo on ReelRum and had a great day. They got into the big school of Porpoise and found the Yellowfin Tuna. They ended the day with 10 Yellowfin and 1 Dorado. They were at Misiones de Kino last night for dinner. Nice meeting you guys, hope to see you back down here soon.

Bob Gustafson is down from one of my hometowns, Del Mar California with his son Eric. Bob and Eric had a somewhat slow day today on the Red Beam with Captain Marshall but did get into some action. They had two Marlin strikes, but just couldn't get a hook set, and also caught one small Dorado. Hopefully tomorrow brings better fishing.

Finally, we had Josh Johnson and his new bride Jennifer from Houston, Texas fishing with us aboard El Nuevo RedRum. Josh fished last week with his groomsmen and had a blast so he had to bring the new wifey out to show her what it was all about. Josh and Jennifer had a great day getting into the Yellowfin Tuna, with 6 fish total, up to 35 lbs. Josh said he saw fish in the 100lb class in the school, but just couldn't get them to bite.
