Big Tuna today!!

Joe and Suzanne Broussard from Texas City, Texas were out with us again today and had another real nice day. Lots of fish in the water! Tuna, Marlin and Dorado were spotted but not much action from the fish with regard to hook-ups. The boys found a nice school of porpoise that were working bait and Yellowfin and Manuel was able to get two hook-ups. Joe and Suzanne each fought big Tuna, with Joe's heading for the prop and snapping the line. Suzanne was able to land hers though, a big bruiser of about 60lbs. After filleting and vacuum sealing, they should have plenty of Tuna to bring back to Texas. We even saved a few fillets for them to eat at Misiones de Kino tonight.

Adam and Laura Barber also fished with us today and while Javier did his best, he could not get them hooked up. Javier said that he saw 20 different Marlin today and had one playing with a pitch bait, but could not get it hooked up. Later he saw a school of Yellowfin working over a school of bait. After catching a few of the baitfish they were snacking on, he rigged them up and tossed them down, no interest from the Tuna though. Hopefully, it was still a great day on the water!
