Mas Tuna

Hola amigos,

Today we had two boats heading out. Would have been 4, but we had a few cancellations due to the Swine Flu. Much too big a deal, in our opinion, has been made. The flu is treatable and not as dangerous as once thought. Stop slamming Mexico!

Dave Sylvia headed out with Omar and Americo and they had a plan in place. Americo told me yesterday how he had 14 different Marlin strikes and they were headed back to the same place as yesterday on the Sea of Cortez. As luck would have it, the Marlin disappeared. They did hook a shark that Dave fought for a few minutes, unfortunately, it spit the hook. We'll get you hooked up next time Dave!

Alex and Ramon on El Nuevo played host to the Monks group again. For their final day of fishing. The boys still had room in their coolers so, Mike, Lee, Scott, Dino, Billy, and Mark wanted to head for the Yellowfin school they found yesterday. They boys got lucky again today and found the school early this morning. By the end of the day they had 20 Yellowfin on board. Jorge and Rene are busy on the vacuum packer right now, and will be for the forseeable future. Great trip for the guys and we really enjoyed having you guys down. See you next year!

Hasta Manana!

From the CDC's acting chief, Dr. Richard Besser...

"The good news is when we look at this virus right now, we're not seeing some of the things in the virus that have been associated in the past with more severe flu," Besser said."
