BIG TUNA

Jimmy, Leslie and Scott went out for the on one of our partner boats with our good friend Captain Ulises. It was their third day fishing after going out on Pangas the first day and our 32’ RumRunnin yesterday. They headed out towards Golden Gate on the Pacific Side and caught and released a Striped Marlin that weighed close to a hundred and forty pounds, caught by Scott; 2 Sailfish weighing around a hundred pounds caught by Leslie and Jimmy and 2 Dorado weighing twenty five to thirty five pounds caught by jimmy and Scott. Not a bad record.

Daniel and Giannina from Miami, Florida went out on our 33’ El Nuevo with Captain Alex and Mate Ramon. They each caught and released a Striped Marlin as well as 7 more Dorado which they donated to their crew.

Keith, Lisa, Jennifer and Corey from Columbus, Ohio went out on our 32’ RedBeam with Captain Marcial and Mate Fabian. They hooked onto a big Tuna at point 95 on the Sea of Cortez around 12:45pm and Lisa fought that biggy for almost two hours. The massive Tuna came in at 145 pounds. Lisa was kind enough to let someone else in her group catch a fish as well; Jennifer caught a 20 pound Dorado on the sea of Cortez.

Phil and friends went fishing for the second time this week, this time on our 28’ ReelRum with Captain Omar and Americo. They caught 5 Dorado, the heaviest weighing 50 pounds, and Earl caught and released a hundred and forty five pound, six foot five Marlin.

Amber, Mackenzie, Wendy and James Hitchcock went out for the second time this week, this time on our 32’ RumRunnin with Captain Javier and Mate Juan. They caught 7 Dorado weighing between twenty five to forty five pounds and caught and released a Striped Marlin.
