How did the ladies do?

This morning we had the mother/daughter team of Jolene and Kirstie Scott. Alex and Marshall on El Nuevo RedRum got the call, and Tuna was the desired species. If you have been following along Alex has been a Tuna machine the last few days bringing in over 30 keeper Yellowfin. Unfortunately, the 3rd time was not a charm for the El Nuevo crew. Alex headed back out to the Pacific in search of the large school he had located and fished the previous two days. As they often do, the Tuna had disappeared, which was a total bummer as the ladies were really looking forward to some fresh Yellowfin for a nice sushi dinner. The day was not a complete loss as late in the day the boys saw a finning Marlin and they were able to entice a bite. A battle ensued and the ladies got to pull on and catch and release a nice Striped Marlin. "That's hard work," stated Jolene. "I know why sushi is so expensive," replied her daughter Kirstie. All in all, they said they had a blast and really enjoyed their day on the water. Hopefully next time we can get that big Yellowfin hooked up and sashimied for you.

Nevermind the swine!
