Slow Sharky Sunday

A cloudless sunny sky here in Cabo today. The winds have calmed down a bit with the temp a bit brisk in the mornings still.

It was a slow sharky Sunday today on RedRum boats.

Jordanna and Nilsua from British Columbia headed out on the RedBeam today with Capt. Cesar. They went out in front of the Westin on the Sea of Cortez. They saw about 3 Striped Marlin on the surface but they weren't hungry. With the 63 degree Fahrenheit currents moving in and out, that can mean shark. And sure enough, they reeled in 1 Hammerhead.

On their first day out on the water, John Horger and his group staying in the condos up at Portofino using the Stay & Play package are out on Day 1 of their 3 day package. With Chivo and Amerio on RumRunnin, they had a tough day out there. They didn't reel anything in today, so it goes sometimes with fishing. But they've got two more days on the water so we're going to wish them the best!

And last but not least was David Foret, also staying in the Portofino Condos with his crew Trey, Linda, Steve, DJ and Roy from Louisiana. They were out for the 2nd day with Alex on El Nuevo. Simliar to the other boats, there wasn't much action out there, they saw one Marlin jumping on the surface but no bites. Out at the Palmilla in about 71 degree F waters they reeled in a Hammerhead Shark as well. Both Hammerheads were released as well.

We're hoping the seas pick up tomorrow!

Thanks for checking in...
