June 13th Fish Report

Strong winds continued to blow today which made reading water temperatures in the morning a little frusterating for us! We managed to be alright as the skill and intuitions of our captains put them on some fish today.

Harold O'Dell and his group came back in the office this morning after leaving yesterday from a slow day on El Nuevo. He was happy about his results today as they caught 4 nice Yellowfin Tuna and were excited about heading back to the villa to prepare the fish.

Our long time Redrum angler Chris Corell headed out with his buddy Javier on Rum Runnin today for a half-day of inshore fishing. Chris Jr. and his brother had a great time catching Yellowtail Tuna and Bonita. Chris was glad that his boys got to see some action on the boat. Chris will be heading out again on the 16th in hopes of hooking into a Marlin!

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bretlinger from Mansfield, TX had a blast on Tantrum today. Bobby told me at the end of the day that he spent most of his time on the boat trying to explain to Cesar and Ramon bay fishing. Being from Texas, Bobby does a lot of Redfishing in South Padre Island. Cesar was in shock that there was actually another way of fishing!! Being from Texas myself I told Bobby he was going to be out of luck if trying to get these guys into bayfishing! Bobby caught and released a nice 107" Stripe Marlin with Cesar and Ramon.

Jessica Myers sent her boys out on Red Beam. They had a good time with Manuel and got into 1 Dorado. The day seemed pretty slow for the guys but nothing beats a day better than being on the water with family and friends.
TGIF!
