I'll take the fish combo please...

Jason, Josh, Natalie and Kelley from Tuscola and Amarillo, Texas fished on our 32’ RedBeam with Captain Marcial and Mate Fabian. They headed out into the Pacific ocean where the water was at seventy two degrees and the fish started to bite a mere mile from shore. They caught 7 Dorado and 2 Tuna using a combination of lures and bait. The Dorado weighed between fifteen and twenty pounds.

James, David, Jimmy and Rickey from Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama went out again today with Captain Alex on our 33’ El Nuevo and caught 3 Tuna and released a Marlin on the pacific side.

The Harnack group went out on our 28’ ReelRum with Captain Omar and Mate Americo. They caught 11 Dorado, 4 of which they released, a Tuna and released a ninety pound Sailfish. They also fought a hammerhead shark which they also released. The action went down on the pacific side about fifteen to twenty miles offshore.

Jon Westerfield went out with his wife and two young daughters on one of our partner boats and caught a Dorado and 6 Bonita. Unfortunately one of the girl’s didn’t feel too well and they headed back early but vowed to return in the near future.

Colby, Jim, RB and “jefe in training” Ryan Donovan went out on our 32’ RumRunnin with Captain Manuel and Mate Juan. They spent the day reminiscing about their fraternity days and pretended the fish were young freshmen scheduled to be hazed. The guys did well and brought back 2 Dorado, released another 2 and also caught and released 3 Striped Marlins, the largest weighing 170 pounds.

At this moment I would like to give a shout out to the Donovan’s for having air conditioning installed in the office. Without your support I would be melting right about now.

Peace,
Diana

Ansite picks

James Ansite was down from Long Beach, California. On Saturday August 1st he fished with Captain Marshall on the RedBeam and was constantly hooked up with Yellowfin Tuna. Marshall found a huge school which they circled for a few hours catching more than his limit. Sunday was much of the same but more of a mixed bag for James' second trip. Along with Captain Manuel on Rum Runnin, James got hooked into a nice Striped Marlin, 2 big Dorado and 10 more Yellowfin Tuna. Awesome two days on the water James, I am sure your arms are still tired.
