Monday Update

Today was a beautiful day in Cabo, while it was warm, the humidity wasn't too bad. We even had a little cloud cover, providing for a great day on the water. All the boats had success today, so that was great.

Bill, Scott and Brad Johnson, along with Steven Grounds were out on El Nuevo RedRum for their first of two days on the water. Along with Alex and Ramon, these guys had a great day. They caught and released 2 Striped Marlin, the first 99" and the second a 115" whopper. Congrats guys!

Another father, son, son combo of Dan, Todd and Justin Stewart were our guests aboard Rum Runnin with Javier and Manuel. Monday was Javier's last day of work for 8 days as he is taking a well deserved vacation, you'll never guess what his plans are. He is heading up to Loreto to do some fishing! That being said, Javier wanted to make sure his last charter was a good one. Dan, Todd and Justin are no strangers to fishing boats or charters as their family has been in the charter business for 30+ years on Lake Michigan. That being said, they had a great day here in Cabo. While things were slow to start, Javier and Manuel stuck with it and got them a nice Striped Marlin by the end of the day.

Charlie and Jessica Reinhardt in from the Hill Country of Texas were our guest aboard ReelRum. Omar and Americo found the fish quickly and kept the Reinhardts busy all day. They had 3 catch and release Sailfish by the time they returned. One of the fish hit a lure, the other two were caught on live bait, Caballitos.

Finally, we had Bryan Silverthorn, a Cabo local, with his crew on the RedBeam. Shawn, John, Debra and Susan are visiting Bryan from out of town and wanted to try sportfishing. While the seas didn't agree with Shawn, they did get to catch and release a Striped Marlin before heading back to shore. Congrats to Bryan and his wife who are celebrating 30 years of marriage this weekend in Cabo!
