October 9th Fish Report

Dan and friends went out for a second time this week on our 28’ ReelRum with Captain Omar and Mate Americo. They caught 6 Dorado weighing between twenty five to thirty pounds and released an additional six. They also caught a hundred and twenty pound Striped Marlin. The fishing went down by Migri~no on the Pacific side, twenty miles out and two miles from shore.

Mary and Susan from Atlanta, Georgia and St. Petersberg, Florida ran into John, aka “El Jefe” downtown on Thursday night. He was out with the Trip Advisor tournament anglers and charmed these two ladies into a day of fishing. Mary and Susan caught 8 Dorado weighing around twenty pounds.

Chris, Zack and Shaun from Austin and Dallas, Texas went out on our 32’ partner boat with Captain Federico and Mate Wenses. They fished the lighthouse, one mile from the shore and caught 10 Dorado, released 2 and had a double hook-up. They saw a lot of Striped Marlin but they didn’t bite.

Charles, Jenny, Kimberly and Sam from Alabama fished on our 31’ GreyLight with Captain Ulises. They fished the lighthouse a mile and a half from the shore and caught 7 Dorado weighing between twenty five and thirty pounds and released 2 other Dorado.

Sharon and friends went out a second time this week, this time on our 28’ partner boat with Captain Lupe and Mate Salvador. They fished Los Arcos a mile from shore and caught 14 Dorado weighing between twenty and thirty pounds and released two of them.

Eric and Toby from Louisiana went out for the second time this week on our 32’ RumRunnin with Captain Javier and Mate Manuel. They fished Golden Gate, eighteen miles out and a mile from shore and caught 6 Dorado weighing between fifteen and twenty five pounds.

Joe, George, John and Greg went out on our 32’ RedBeam with Captain Cesar and Mate Fabian. They caught 10 Dorado weighing between twenty five to forty five pounds and released three. They fought another 10-12 but lost them on the line and chased at least 8 Marlin but they didn’t want to bite. They fished the lighthouse and Los Arcos a mile from shore. “The crew worked really hard. Other than that we smell like fish and it was a good darn day.”-Joe

Rich and friends went out a second time this week on our 33’ El Nuevo with Captain Alex and Mate Ramon. They caught 12 Dorado and released another four. They had a triple hook-up fishing Golden Gate, eighteen miles out and three miles from shore.
