June 17th Fish Report

For the first time in a couple of weeks I was able to walk into the Redrum office without noticing strong winds. That is a good sign for fishing as the temperature in the air seemed almost perfect for heading out. Still and almost warm, when the sun is still down that's a pretty good combo!

Todays Report:

Mike O'Malley headed out with his 3 friends and their sons. The group fished El Nuevo with Alex and Ramon as well as Red Beam with Manuel. Alex had the lucky touch today as he was able to catch and release 4 Stripe Marlin with his half of the group. Each angler on board got to reel in a Marlin and also help eachother out on all the others. Great job guys!

Javier and Americo fished with our new buddy Joe Bonjorno, if you guys want to meet someone with an intense passion for fishing look up Mr. Bonjorno. Not only does he have a great passion along with a hilarious sense of humor but he also bring good luck with him. Yesterday he fished with Omar and Jesus and caught and release 2 Stripe Marlin and was able to boat 2 Dorado for dinner! Today, he and his buddy Scott Boyer were able to Catch and Release 3 Stripers. Two of them Joe spotted himself! They get the day off tomorrow and come back for 2 more days with Javier and Rum Runnin on Thursday and Friday. We'll see how they do. "The bar has been set" boys!!

Omar and Jesus also had a good day fishing with Mr. Dick Washeback and family. They started off with a few technical problems and had to come back to the dock so Omar could fix the boat. They were patient and thier patience paid off. After heading back out Mr. Washbeck and his son were able to Catch and Release 2 Stripe Marlin!! Thanks for being so understandable guys and great job!

The wind seemed to have picked up a little later in the afternoon but it seems like it doesn't have as much fight as last week. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the fishing continues to get better as we lead up to the exciting Summer months in Cabo!!

Tight Lines,

Luis
